My love affair with wool began as a young child. I had a wool blanket that I loved to smell and touch. It is still a strong memory, as is, holding the skein of wool while my grandmother wound into a ball.

I learned to knit at age 10 and have never looked back. After many decades of voracious knitting, I have  introduced another component to my craft...Felting! I become excited by the possibilities of creating something new. I love how unpredictable felting can be and how challenging it is to not to become frustrated at times!

I cherish the time spent quietly creating beautiful things in my studio.

Artist Statement:
Color, texture and possibility ignite my creativity. I love working with wool and natural fiber. I typically choose the fiber because of its texture and color and then decide what unique shape to attempt. My handbags and purses are knit or woven and then felted using hot water and agitation. They are then shaped and dried as many times as it takes to achieve the desired outcome. When the desired form is achieved handles and appropriate closures and embellishments are applied to finish the piece.
